The White Stork Project
Connecting with a wilder Britain
Restoring a breeding population of white storks in southern England through habitat work, nest platforms, research, and community engagement.
The White Stork Project is a collaborative reintroduction effort aiming to re-establish a self-sustaining breeding population of white storks in southern England. By creating suitable habitat, installing nest platforms, tracking movements, and involving local communities, the project blends science, stewardship, and storytelling to support the species’ return and inspire wider nature recovery.
